3 Rivers Mental Health Center supports the human side of medicine and mental health care. In keeping with this philosophy, 3 Rivers offers medical psychiatric care provided by Dr. Phillip M. Holman MD. Dr. Holman is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (1998, 2008), Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine (1983) and a Diplomate of the American Board of Medical Specialties (2008). Dr. Holman graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Brigham Young University Magna Cum Laude. He attended medical school at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He further completed residencies in Psychiatry at the University of Washington, Seattle and Spokane, Washington. Additionally Dr. Holman was a resident in Internal Medicine at the University of California, Davis campus. Dr. Holman's interests in mental health, public health and pain management have led him to author monthly mental health articles, appear in television spots, assume medical directorships to create positive change and facilitate mental wellness support groups. He believes in mental health technological advancements and supports peer reviewed complementary medicine. Dr. Holman has practiced medicine for over 35 years spanning approximately 175, 000 patient visits in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
